Following its earlier sightings in the manufacturer’s base, South Korea, the Indian-spec Hyundai Creta facelift has been recently spotted testing on the Indian tarmac.Unlike the Creta facelift in many ASEAN countries, which draws inspiration from the Tucson, the Indian version will showcase an all-new design language.
These fresh spy shots provide interesting details about the upcoming model.The heavily-camouflaged test mule, spotted by YouTube user Jayant Kamdar, is sporting Alcazar's 18-inch alloy wheels.
Another major highlight of the facelifted SUV, as seen in the previous spy shots from overseas, will be the presence of parametric grille, vertical headline arrangement, reminiscent of the Palisade SUV sold overseas.

The Creta will also feature a 4-spoke steering wheel with paddle shifters, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, and level-2 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) suite.Under the hood, it is expected that the Creta facelift will retain the 115hp, 1.5-liter diesel and 1.5-liter petrol engine options.
Additionally, the 160hp, 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine, which was first introduced in the Verna, is also likely to be offered in the Creta facelift.
The facelifted Creta can be expected to be introduced in India in early 2024.
However, at present, the carmaker is gearing up for the launch of its Tata Punch-rivalling, all-new Exter SUV.
