KATHMANDU, OCTOBER 21An International Mountain Guide from France has set the speed record scaling Mt Ama Dablam in just less than 7 hours."Matheo Baptiste Jacquemoud completed Ama Dablam climb from the base camp to base camp in 6hr 23 min 24 sec on October 20," said Subash Shrestha from Himalaya Vision Treks.The IFMGA Guide started his climb from the base camp and reached the top of 6,812-metre peak at 9:59 am, he said.

According to him, this is the fastest ever base camp to base camp climb on Ama Dablam. The tracker shows that his journey from the base camp to base camp after scaling peaks completed in 6hr 23 min 24 sec, Shrestha added."Matheo has done it in an alpine style." .
