The first tranche of money was allocated for Jajarkot, Rukum Paschim, Bajhang, Bajura, and Salyan districts, as per the government's decision, as stated by the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA).According to the NDRRMA spokesperson, Dhruba Bahadur Khadka, Jajarkot and Rukum Paschim districts will each receive Rs 500 million, while Rs 250 million has been allocated for Bajhang, Rs 140 million for Bajura, and Rs 20 million for Salyan district.
The Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Executive Committee, in a meeting held on November 12, had earlier approved the Temporary Residence Construction Guidelines for legal facilitation to support those affected by the earthquake.Khadka mentioned that the first tranche's amount was released in accordance with the Guidelines.The beneficiaries will be selected, and the funds will be distributed by the respective local levels, adhering to the laws, and auditing procedures will be carried out.
