Russias Foreign Ministry on Tuesday said it summoned Germanys ambassador to protest a brand-new NATO marine command center along the Baltic Sea coast.On Monday, Germany inaugurated the center to increase defense readiness in the Baltic Sea region as Russia continues to wage war on Ukraine.Authorities in Moscow stated they revealed a definitive protest with the German ambassador over the production of the marine command center in Rostock.Russias Foreign Ministry said that in Washington, Brussels and Berlin, they must recognize that the growth of NATO military facilities in previous East Germany will have the most unfavorable consequences.Moscow alerted that the circumstance will not stay without a matching response from the Russian side.Russias Foreign Ministry likewise said the brand-new center was a blatant breach of the 1990 German reunification treaty, which says that no foreign armed forces would be released in the area.The naval command center will be led by a German admiral and manned by personnel from 11 other NATO countries.It will aim to collaborate marine activities in the region and provide NATO with a picture of the maritime circumstance in the Baltic Sea area all the time, according to Germanys Defense Minister Boris Pistorius.
