Authorities in southern Russias Voronezh area stated early Monday that Ukrainian drones attacked 2 commercial websites over night, with Russian media reporting that the unmanned airplane targeted ethanol spirit plants.Voronezh region Governor Alexander Gusevsaid one attack occurred in the areas Anninsky District, where two employees were injured in a fire that broke out at an industrial center.
A second strike took place in the Novokhopyorsky District, without any injuries reported.Russias Defense Ministry saidone Ukrainian drone was destroyed over the Voronezh area over night and a 2nd the previous evening.Gusev did not specify what kind of industrial websites were targeted in the overnight strikes, however a number of Telegram news channels with connections to Russian police declared the drones assaulted ethanol spirit plants.Last week, Ukrainian drone strikes caused a fire at an ethanol plant in the Tambov region and 2 distilleries in the Tula area.
Ukraines nationwide security authorities confirmed those attacks, declaring they were disguised military facilities.
