TEHRAN – Stage director and actress Shiva Ordui, who is also a translator of literary compositions, has made her screen debut with a short film based on Anton Chekhov’s short story “Misery”.

The film entitled “Pause” has been written and co-produced by Ordui.

TEHRAN – Croatian adventurer Ivan Dogic’s pictorial book on Iranian children has recently been published in Zagreb, Croatia.

Dogic visited Iran in 2016 for the first time. On his second trip to the country, he met Iranian tour guide Fariba Fadai, whom he married, and together they now live in the central Iranian city of Isfahan.

TEHRAN – An Iranian troupe is performing a play named “The Unwomanly Face of War”  based on a book by Soviet writer Svetlana Alexievich of Belorussia at the Neauphle-le-Chateau Theater in Tehran.

The group directed by Neshat Mirmahdi gave its first performance on Thursday night of the play that will remain on stage through August 26.

The entire cast
