TEHRAN – Iran’s men’s team defeated Australia 14-4 in their opening match of the 2022 IBSA Goalball Asia Pacific Championships on Monday.

Iran are scheduled to play South Korea on Tuesday.

The Iranian women’s team lost to South Korea 2-1.

The competition started in ISA Sports City, Bahrain on Monday and will run until Friday.

TEHRAN – Brazilian coach Osmar Loss Vieira has joined Persepolis coaching staff.

He will work as Yahya Golmohammadi’s assistant in the 2022/23 Iran Professional League (IPL).

Born in Passo Fundo, Rio Grande do Sul, Loss began his career with Internacional's youth team in 1994 and took charge of Serie A team Juventude in 2010.

As reported, over 6.663 billion securities worth 41.328 trillion rials ($147.6 million) were traded at the TSE.

The first market’s index fell 20,988 points, and the second market’s index dropped 39,460 points.
