Iran victorious over Portugal at IHF Beach Handball Championship

TEHRAN - Iran defeated Portugal 2-1 (22–24, 19–18, 8–6) at the 2022 International Handball Federation (IHF) Men’s Beach Handball Championship on Thursday.

Iran has lost to Denmark, Norway and Brazil and defeated Egypt and Portugal so far.

The Persians are scheduled to play Qatar on Friday in Group II.

TEHRAn - Jose Morais was appointed as new head coach of Sepahan football team on Thursday.

The Portuguese coach has penned a three-year deal with the Isfahan based football club for an undisclosed fee.

TEHRAN - The Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) on Thursday appointed a new intelligence chief, replacing Hossein Ta’eb.

The new chief of the IRGC intelligence body is General Mohammad Kazemi.

Kazemi took over the post upon a decree by IRGC Commander Major General Hossein Salami, IRGC spokesman Ramezan Sharif said in a statement.

Iran FM: We hope Vienna nuclear talks would be resumed soon
