TEHRAN-- Irans Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance has actually developed a plaque of honor, which is awarded to the Islamic Revolution design journalists .
In memory of Reza Moqaddasi, former handling director of the Tehran Times, the plaque has actually been named after Qalam-e Moqaddas (Sacred Pen).

Reza Moqaddasi was an exemplary reporter of the Islamic Revolution who gave a brilliant efficiency during his short life, Esmaeili stated.
He was an Islamic Revolution model journalist; he can be a sign of innovative journalism, he added.He likewise stated, During the Qajar period, [prince] Abbas Mirza sent out 3 persons to the West to study modern-day sciences; one the person was Mirza Saleh Shirazi who established the day-to-day Kaghaz-e Akhbar after his return to the country; we made much development in journalism throughout the Qajar period.

He was also the deputy handling director of Hamshahri, the paper of the Tehran Municipality.Moqaddasi likewise worked as managing director of the Mehr News Agency and Tehran Times.
He passed away from cancer on February 2, 2018.
