The domestic stock markets gained amid a return of foreign fund inflows to Dalal Street.
At 10:33 am, the Sensex traded at 35,022.02, up 590.05 points or 1.71 per cent, while the Nifty barometer of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) was at 10,562.50, with a gain of 182.05 points or 1.75 per cent.
