NEW DELHI: Most IT shares were trading on a mixed note in Friday's morning session. Shares of Mindtree (up 1.76 per cent), Tata Elxsi (up 1.49 per cent), Tata Consultancy Services (up 0.56 per cent) and NIIT Technologies (up 0.16 per cent) were the top gainers in the index. Tech Mahindra (down 1.14 per cent), Wipro (down 1.11 per cent), Infibeam Avenues (down 0.48 per cent) and Oracle Financial Services Software (down 0.43 per cent) were trading lower.

The Nifty IT index was trading 0.04 per cent up at 15,504.30 around 10:05 am.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 62.95 points at 11,533.95 while the BSE Sensex was down 183.70 points at 38,713.76.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 10 were trading in the green, while 40 were in the red.

Shares of YES Bank, Vodafone Idea, Dish TV India, SBI, NTPC, Ashok Leyland, ONGC, SAIL, Tata Motors and NCC were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
