NEW DELHI: Realty shares were trading in the positive zone in Thursday's morning session. Shares of Prestige Estates Projects (up 4.19 per cent), Godrej Properties (up 1.59 per cent) and Indiabulls Real Estate (up 1.58 per cent) were trading higher. Mahindra Lifespace Developers (up 0.67 per cent), Phoenix Mills (up 0.39 per cent) and DLF (up 0.34 per cent) too were trading with gains.
The Nifty Realty index was trading 0.22 per cent up at 274.05 around 10:16 am.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 61.10 points at 11,332.40 while the BSE Sensex was up 228.79 points at 38,076.44.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 36 were trading in the green, while 14 were in the red.
Shares of YES Bank, IDFC First Bank, Vodafone Idea, Tata Motors, Indian Oil Corp, Bank of Baroda, ZEEL, PNB, Ashok Leyland and SAIL were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
